THE TREE IS YOUR SPINE
MOODBOARD - SS26

P.Andrade’s SS26 collection dives into a reflection on life in all its forms —
frommicroorganisms to fungi, animals to spiritual entities — proposing a new way of looking at the future of
our planet.
Inspired by the concept of non-human life and rooted in studies of ecological regeneration, the collection
emerges from the intersection of ancestral Brazilian knowledge and emerging technologies.
In collaboration with artist Samuel de Saboia, the visual and conceptual narrative unfolds in layers, weaving
together biotechnology, spirituality, craftsmanship and nature.
The title, The Tree is Your Spine, comes from a Kundalini text that symbolically interprets the creation of the
world: Adam as atom, Eve as electron, and the tree as the planet’s spine.
Here, the tree represents the connection between all cycles of life.
The collection’s aesthetic is deeply inspired by the anime Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, by Studio Ghibli,
where a seemingly toxic forest is revealed as a force of healing. Elements from the protagonist — her
uniforms, accessories, and stones inform silhouettes and textures, translating hope amid chaos
.
Lace, a traditional symbol of Brazilian culture, is reimagined as a living organism like proliferating fungi.
Artisanal techniques merge with innovative dyeing processes using Brazilian bacteria that replace indigo
without producing toxic waste. Binary codes embedded in the garments ensure traceability,
reinforcing the blend of tradition and technology.
Phrases from Saboias's paintings like Organic Freedom, Self-Generated Magic,
and A Love Letter to a Hurricane echo the poetic force of the collection
— an invitation to imagine regenerative futures rooted in the past.
This collection offers a non-obvious perspective on
Brazil and on life itself —
exploring not only human existence, but the full
spectrum: microorganisms, fungi, animals, spiritual
beings.
nspired by the idea of non-human life,
the collection draws from planetary regeneration studies.
Invisible life forms — like bacteria and fungi —

Samuel de Saboia joins not just as a visual artist, but as a conceptual contributor.
His reflections, writings, and works helped shape the collection’s foundation.
The protagonist’s silhouettes, uniforms,

Brazilian lace is reinterpreted as a living organism.
Ancestral techniques meet biotechnology: dyeing processes using native bacteria replace
traditional indigo without the toxic waste.

Binary coding is embedded in the garments to ensure
traceability and geolocation —
symbolizing the fusion of tradition and innovation.
This fabric contains a binary code that accesses the true
DNA of the product, allowing the customer to verify its
authenticity at any time. This offers a quick and simple
way to access production information with full
transparency, encouraging the use of fair labor and
environmentally responsible practices in the textile
industry.
We print the code along the entire longitudinal section of
the thread on a textile cone. Since the code is embedded
in the first stage of production, it's possible to transfer
comprehensive information with everything securely
stored on the blockchain. The code can be read under
ultraviolet light, and the information can be accessed via
an app, an AI reader, or a QR code.
SS26 invites us to reconnect with our origins.
A symbolic return to the past as a starting point for a more conscious future.
Hope. Regeneration. Life in all its forms.

The color palette and surplus fabrics sourced from Japan form a striking contrast with the advanced textile technologies of Italian
weaves and the vibrant prints by artist Samuel de Saboia. The collection also invests in proprietary innovations, such as 3D Knit
engineered with binary code and sustainable dyeing techniques utilizing bacteria.
